Good to hear from you no matter the timeframe. I also like old audio, I have a DOS-era Compaq laptop with a genuine OPL3 inside, and a Roland Sound Canvas. An SC-55 or SC-88 is a good investment, you can use them with a USB MIDI interface and pass them through to DOSBox. I guess with Debian dropping 32-bit x86 next release I’ll have to finally learn one of the BSDs to use older systems with new software.
