In this episode we bring on special guest Eric Renfro. Eric is the system operator (sysop) for the Decker's Heaven Bulletin Board System (BBS) and experienced BBS's when they were still popular. We discuss what things would be like today if the Internet never happened and BBS's were still in their prime.
Show notes:
A tiny bit of history: BBS's were local area text based communication systems that were popular from the late 70s to the mid 90s. They were accessible via modem. They fell out of favor when the Internet became popular but still exist today because of hobbyists that still run them.

You can SyncTERM to access it. Set the connection type to telnet (no security) for the fancy ANSI art login screen or set it to SSH for security.
